* Deploy the congo.war file into your application server
* Start a web browser, and point it at the location you deployed to (for example, http://localhost:8080/congo/
* You should see a "Welcome to CONGO" 'not configured' page.  Click 'Proceed to configuration'
* Fill out the appropriate fields.  The most important details are the CONGO database hostname, username, and password used to create the MySQL database instance.
* When finished, click Proceed.

If all goes well, you should be presented with the 'coconut' login screen.  This is the administrative interface for CONGO.  To check the 'public' interface, use the url without the 'coconut' extension.

For example, if you used 'http://localhost:8080/congo/' for your install:
* http://localhost:8080/congo/ will be the 'public' facing interface - what attendees using CONGO from the 'outside world' will see.
* http://localhost:8080/congo/coconut/ is the 'administrative' interface.  Note that only registrant ID's that are listed in the congo settings will be able to use Coconut
.
