Changed lines 7-14 from:

Download the Evolis src RPM from Evolis
Unpack it into some working directory
copy rastertoevolis to /usr/lib/cups/filter/
mkdir /usr/share/ppd/custom/Evolis
un-gzip the ppd/* files and copy them to /usr/share/ppd/custom/Evolis
copy everything in the ppd file to /usr/share/cups/model/Evolis/. and unzip them
restart cups
Look for a new printer under the admin interface?

For RPM based installs, use this process:
- Download the Evolis src RPM from Evolis
- Unpack it into some working directory
- copy rastertoevolis to /usr/lib/cups/filter/
- mkdir /usr/share/ppd/custom/Evolis
- un-gzip the ppd/* files and copy them to /usr/share/ppd/custom/Evolis
- copy everything in the ppd file to /usr/share/cups/model/Evolis/. and unzip them
- restart cups
- Look for a new printer under the admin interface?
For Debian, Ubuntu, or other source-based isntalls (and apparently for the new 3.0 driver)
- Download the 3.0 src .tgz from the above URL
- Unpack it into a directory
- Make sure you have the cups development packages installed:
  - sudo aptitude install libcups2-dev
